  1. This guide only work on Android Lollipop device.
  2. To follow this guide make sure your device is Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen.
  3. Make sure fastboot is installed correctly on your computer.

  5. USB Motorola driver should installed on the computer or laptop. If you don't have this driver yet get from link below.

  7. Download the latest TWRP recovery for Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen from here.

  9. Then, download the latest SuperSU from here.

  11. Copy all downloaded file to the same folder name, for example C:\twrp
  12. Then enable developer options on your phone. (Settings - Tap 7 times at build number until you see you are now a developer.)
  13. Then, enable OEM unlocking.
  14. Enable USB debugging.
  15. Now turn off Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen.
  16. Then enter Moto G 3rd Gen.to fastboot mode. (Press and hold Power Button + Volume Down)

  18. Now open command prompt at this folder (C:\twrp), how to do it.
    • Press and hold shift key on keyboard.
    • Then right click at empty space - select open command window here.
  19. Now the following command below to make sure your phone is connected to the computer.
    • fastboot devices
  20. Then, the type the following command below to flash TWRP recovery 
    • fastboot flash recovery recovery name.img
    • Change recovery name with the recovery name you just download at step 4 above, for example.
      • fastboot flash recovery twrp-osprey-3.0.2-r5.img
  21. Now type the following command below to boot Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen to recovery mode.
    • fastboot boot twrp-osprey-3.0.2-r5.img
  22. And your Moto G 3rd Gen will reboot into recovery mode now.
  23. Now boot your Moto G 3rd Gen to the system.
