Guide | How to Flash Firmware Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen).

#1 Step.

1. All file, data, accounts and installed App in internal memory are wiped during flashing process. So, try to back up it first before flashing the device.
2. The battery at least has 75% of minimum battery capacity.
3. To keep a good connections between your Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) device and the computer, we recommend using an original USB cable.

#2 Step - Flashing Process.

1. Boot your Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) device to Fastboot mode. How to do it ?
• Power off the Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen), by press and hold power button for a seconds, it will completely turn off the device.
• Now, press and hold both volume down + volume up button.
2. Then, connect your Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) to the computer via USB cable.
3. Make sure your Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) successfully detected on your computer via Fastboot mode.
4. If there is something wrong, you can try to change the computer port or USB cable.
5. Then, Open your RSD Lite software on your computer from start menu.
6. Then click the button marked with the arrow and red circle shown at picture below to load Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen)  firmware.

7. Firmware file should have this extensions (*.hs, *.xml, *.shx, *.sbf, etc)
8. Once your Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) firmware successfully loaded, RSD lite flash tool should look like picture shown below.

9. Now click start button at RSD lite window to begin the flashing process.
