Hey, What's going on guys My name is Akash and today I'm back with another Review, this time, taking a look at Micromax's new Unite 4 PRO, A phone built for those who wants the perfect blend of Affordability & don't want to compromise too much...
At A Glance
Coming at around 8,999 this phone is for new users who are looking for a phone around 8 to 10k rs.
Although this phone does everything to make up for that price there are some places it shines a lot and then there are some places it lacks possibly to keep the overall price down. I'll talk about this in a second.
FingerPrint Scanner
One thing to do note is that this phone comes with a Finger Print Scanner on the back of the phone which is although not a revolutionary feature in this price department it's still something to be proud of while buying this phone.
And yeah yeah I know you'll say "There are a lot of phones in that price range that has this feature" And yeah I agree with you on that but like I said it's a cool feature to have and the fingerprint sensor is solid enough and works great for quickly unlocking the phone.
Display.
Micromax canvas Unite 4 PRO comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels Like I mentioned above there are some places Micromax make some sacrifices to keep the price of this phone low, And this is the place their sacrifices shines the most.
Having only a 720p display at this price is kinda bummer for most people as someone who is paying that much (9k rs) will at least expect a 1080p display.
Nevertheless having a 720p display does give some advantages in the battery department, I'll talk about it in a minute.
Performance
The Micromax Unite 4 Pro is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. This is another place where Micromax sacrificed, Not A lot but it was noticeable If you are expecting this phone to work as a powerhouse like for heavy multitasking and Hardcore gaming then you should look somewhere else.
Storage
The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card, Nothing too significant to note.
Camera
"This is the most worst part of this phone" Yeah like really DO NOT use this phone for photography or video recording the rear camera SUCKS so bad that I'd wont recommend using it for any purpose. On the other hand the front camera is not that bad you can get some decent shots out of it.
To be specific the Micromax Unite 4 Pro packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Battery
The Micromax Unite 4 Pro powered by a 3900mAh battery. That's the place this thing shines, Like really they compromised on Display and a little bit on performance and they covered it all by putting up a massive 3.9k mah battery which is rated at 35hrs of active use.
That's one of the only few plus point of this phone but they really nailed it.
